In the world of dance music, female DJ’s are underrepresented and account for an average of 17% of artists at major festivals. Because of this, PrissCo strives to support, promote, and encourage the talented women that are not only part of PrissCo, but those that are out there representing for themselves and other crews, as well.

PrissCo was founded circa 2003 by SLC’s very own DJ Sodie and TinkFu. At the time, the roster consisted of DJ Merryl, Kinetik, Mizz Nici, TinkFu, & Sodie. Since then, Kinetik relocated to Denver, CO., and Sodie relocated to Baltimore, MD. Although two of the collectives’ core members transplanted, PrissCo gained two additional powerhouses by acquiring Julliette and Brieskie. In 2017, after many years of growth and success, two more talented ladies have been added to the roster: Decibelle, & Casanova.

PrissCo has held various weekly and monthly residencies for over a decade; always bringing a variety of genres and surging dancefloors. As a collective, PrissCo brings a broad knowledge of technology, skill, vast experience, and raw talent behind the decks. You won’t find pre-recorded sets or sync in use at a Priss Collective show.

Priss Collective – Utah’s Premier All Female DJ Crew

Sodie has climbed the ranks and claimed her place as a staple of the Salt Lake City dance music community. Known most for angelic breakbeats, vinyl manipulation, and sexy interjections of feminine vocal styling, her performance and sound is easily identified and rarely passed up.

Ranging in styles from four on the floor, breakbeat, dubstep, drum and bass to turntablism she has earned respect across all genres and has converted the most avid house addicts to a greater appreciation of breakbeats and drum and bass. Now residing in Baltimore, Maryland, Sodie remains an undercover force – quietly releasing mix sets and collaborating as a vocalist.

As a founding member of  the Priss Collective she remains dedicated to the promotion and support of the talented women in the dance music industry.

As one of the most sought after DJ’s in Utah, TinkFu has shattered the stereotype that male DJs reign supreme. This phenomenal power house femme is taking the throne in a city where female DJs are outnumbered 20 to 1. She has planted her feet in front of the decks with no indication of being knocked down!

TINKFU continues to represent the “City of Salt” all over the US as a constant headliner in Miami, Orlando, LA, Vegas, Philadelphia, Portland, Idaho, and more! This SLC powerhouse DJ has placed her name along side the industry’s most recognizable DJs/acts, such as R.I.T.M, The Crystal Method, Krafty Kuts, Craze, Deekline & Wizard, Andy C, Noisia, Skream, Benga, Hybrid, Keith MacKenzie, Paul Van Dyk, Benny Benassi, Nervo, DJ Rap, Richard Vission, Calvin Harris, Baby Anne, Icey, Faust & Shortee, Aphrodite, Jen Lasher, Dieselboy… the list goes on and on. Not to mention, she co-headlined an event for the annual Winter Music Conference 05′ in Miami with Annalyze and Reid Speed, was 1 out of 400 DJ submissions (world wide) chosen to perform as an ‘Emerging Artist’ at the very first Vegas Music Conference held in September 2006, rocked the main stage at the 2008 premier WMC 08′ event; Future Sound Of Breaks, was asked to join the FSOB crew, and played again at the 2009 FSOB Miami showcase, played at the WMC 2010 TECHNOSLUTS massive, rocked FSOB WMC 2011, and played an exclusive 3 hour set at Vixen, one of Orlando’s premier EDM nightclubs this past April.

TINKFU’s high energy, crowd-controlling performance creates an atmosphere that is in-explainable. At this pace, she is well on her way to becoming an internationally known DJ.

In 1995, a friend introduced Julliette to a pair of turntables. That introduction inevitably marked the beginning of her DJ career and changed the course of her life. Julliette quickly became, and remains one of the most recognized, talented and respected DJs in Utah.

Passion, integrity and untamed talent lead the way to Julliette’s many achievements. Known for her bass driven events and signature sound behind the decks, she was a powerful force in the Utah Drum & Bass scene during the late 90’s. Julliette was voted the #1 Junglist in Utah by the Vibe listeners’ poll for two years running, the second-place finalist in the 1st Annual Defcon Deejay battle, and is one of the top booked DJ’s in Utah.

Julliette has performed at hundreds of clubs and events across the U.S., many with audiences averaging 3,000 or more. Additionally, she has held down multiple full time and rotating club residencies throughout her career.

Julliette primarily spins broken beat genres, especially Drum & Bass. You may hear her spin some house once in a blue moon.

Desirae Robison (Decibelle) was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and grew up in the heart of the underground music scene. This musical fusion is reflected in her eclectic, yet bold sets, offering a selection that pushes boundaries. Her club experiences also include opening up for the 2017 & 2018 Sundance Film Festival Snowfest.

Like so many other artists in the late 90’s, Mizz Nici found her love for DJ’ing after attending the first of many raves in 1999. Shortly after her first rave experience, she took the plunge and stepped into the world of DJ’ing.

Over the years she has held down multiple residencies with PrissCollective and has played shows of all sizes. Speed Garage is her go to style, with Breaks and House mixed in to create a dance floor surging sound.
